Inner Healing

In many cases secular therapy fails to adequately resolve the complex spiritual issues involved in the healing process of victims of abuse.

Millions of people walk through life with deep pain, feeling hopeless, helpless, worthless and trapped. Because of deep shame, many find it difficult to fully open up to someone.

One of the goals of First Love Transformation Ministries is to reach out to those hurting men and women.

If you have been abused, whether physically or sexually, or are hurting in any way, we are here to help you.

We are not counselors, but we are instruments of God that are here to help you break loose from the bondage that is brought on by the pain you have suffered.

FLTM has both male and female ministers who are ready to serve. We believe that childhood abuse and trauma can be just as painful, if not more, than trauma caused in adulthood. We minister inner healing to the emotions of those who have experienced any type of mistreatment or abuse, be it physical, verbal or emotional. Overcoming abuse God's way gives hope, healing and brings restoration to those individuals who have previously felt insecurity, hopelessness, shame, confusion, loneliness and more!
'For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end' (Jeremiah 29:11 NIV)

This scripture says that God desires for us to be happy and free of the bondage that the enemy attempts to put on us. We minister freedom from those bondages through deliverance and inner healing.

The Ministers at FLTM are passionate and mightily used of God to bring healing from emotional, sexual, verbal and physical abuse. The 'expected end' is to bring healing and restoration to their minds and hearts through one-on-one ministry and biblical education.

''to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.' (Acts 26:18 NKJV)

Jesus spent one third of his ministry time on earth setting the captives free by casting demons out of those who were held captive and being tormented. Deliverance is the term used for casting out demons, and it is done by taking authority over them in the name of Jesus Christ.

Jesus said that the enemy, which consists of evil entities such as demons, comes to kill, steal and destroy God's children. The demons enter via personal or generational sin, or sins committed against an individual and/or their family.

The process has several steps and begins with an interview to determine the extent of demonic oppression/possession. People are tormented when demons attack them through emotional wounds that have not been healed. After inner healing has been accomplished, the demons usually lose their hold to the individual and deliverance can then begin. The length of time for complete healing and deliverance varies with each individual according to the severity of demonic oppression/possession.

Many times individuals who receive inner healing and deliverance are not discipled on staying free after ministry and therefore fall back into their old lifestyle. This opens the door for demons to reenter and may even bring more back with them, leaving the individual worse than before. It takes a period of learning to be able to walk in the new freedom.

At FLTM we teach and train the individual how to maintain their healing and deliverance. We train them to do spiritual warfare and to forgive quickly. We help them set goals and we use one-on-one instruction to encourage them to fill their life with the holy things of God like worship music, sermons, and church activity. We teach them the importance of fellowship with other believers and a strong relationship with Father God, Jesus Christ and Holy Spirit.
